We walked into the foyer, and there was a horrid stench, a fetid odor of dying mop heads that had lingered too long in the mop buckets and had not been cleaned. But the store it's self seems clean. We sat down and were greeted by our waitress and told that she was training a new girl and that the new girl would be doing most of the work. Honestly Nothing was wrong with the service, the food was delicious, but it was that damn smell upon entering. I did mention it to the girls and they let their manager know. As we exited we did notice that the stink seemed lessened, and that the pervasive odor of some tropical scent now was in place.

This is very sad that I'm posting this negative review because we eat here at least once a week, however today at 12:25 when we went in to have lunch, I did not receive the same friendly greeting from staff, as an older woman just blatantly said you'll have to wait before even greeting us. Which was ok, but not the usual warm treatment we've received in the past. My husband then asked for change for a dollar to buy a paper and the elderly lady said I don't have change. She pointed to the cashier who (2 of them) said we don't have change. Based on their lack of eye contact and empathy or even an attempt to see if a waitress had change, I knew they were lying to us. Unfortunately we walked out and won't be returning -- even though I would typically drive past the village inn closer to our home on any occasion to eat at this iHop, we won't do it again! Too bad iHop, check the manager on this shift as I'm sure she was the one running the cash register, which a sour disposition!

Sloooooooooow and unorganized. I know I was there on a holiday but it just takes forever to be seated, to have a server acknowledge your existence, and to get some eggs and pancakes. People that were sat after me were served before I was asked for my order. It's a shame because it's so convenient. It will be awhile before I return.

Dianna was right on with her review in that the foyer stunk. I thought it was more toward the order of wet dog. The whole place stunk like a kennel!! The eggs and hash browns were good. The toast was sooooo dry, and the bacon was NOT medium as I had requested...it was limp and fatty. They at least offered to replace it with sausage which was barely ok. I would go back, but would rather enjoy a meal at a kennel because at least I can pet the dogs!!!!

We had not been back to IHOP in probably a year because the service back then was getting bad. Well, I regret to say, it's still bad. Let me first skip to the end of our meal. I knew I had to search for reviews on this place because I couldn't believe how bad it was. I almost burst out laughing when I read the first reviews! Why? Because the first thing I told my son when we entered the foyer was that it smelled nasty; like a sweaty men's locker room! Nasty!! Then I read people complaining about the smell from 5 months ago! How can this foyer stink this bad for so long? Service was not doing well. The waiter who took our order and brought us our food said "let me get you a refill". He was never to be seen again. No one ever came to check on us. IHOP, do you want returning customers or not? I called a waitress at the end of my meal and asked for a refill. She was a nice girl and apologized for the boy who disappeared. How about the food? The size of the pancakes have gone tiny! They are in very small plates to give the illusion that they are bigger than what they really are. They looked just like the frozen pancakes you buy in a box, just a little bit thicker. They were good but the two pancakes combined look like one pancake from a year ago. I get it, you find a way to raise prices without actually raising the price...smaller portions. The steak tips: the quality of the beef should be inspected. Something was just "off" on how they tasted, the texture or something. Was it beef? I hope so. I guess I'll wait another year until I forget about this experience before I return. What a shame.

It's IHOP. What are you supposed to say about an IHOP. You know what it is, you know what it's about. You know what they serve. What I am telling you about has to do with this particular IHOP. It's so clean. I mean, eat your pancakes off the floor kind of clean. The dining area. The bathroom. The waiting area. All immaculate. The staff is great at 9 am or 9 pm, everyone is smiling. Friendly. Nice. Polite. So, why the three stars? Because. It's IHOP.

It's been a while since eating at Ihop for us so we decided for something easy and different we would go there. Arrived around 6:00pm. The place was empty. We were quickly seated by someone and our drink order was taken. One of the people in our group have a gluten allergy so we asked if they had a menu or items identified on the menu that were gluten free. Our waitress must have been newer because she didn't know and had to go ask. Which is perfectly fine to me. She came back and indicated they had nothing of the sorts. The person with the gluten allergy was planning on eating a chef salad since that is usually a safe bet. They didn't have a chef salad or anything close. After trying to determine what to eat she asked if she could order a turkey club sandwich, no bread and no fries and get a side salad in its place. She asked if they could just put the sandwich topings on the salad then she would basically have what she wanted and could eat. No problem said the waitress. A few minutes later she came back and said there would be a upcharge for the salad. Really? How petty is that. We aren't getting bread for the sandwich, aren't getting fries and you want to upcharge us because you have nothing gluten free on your menu. Very poor business. Our food came out a while later. Actually took long considering the place was empty. Getting our bill was another task. Our waitress became invisible for a long time and when we did see her it took forever to get our bill. Foor quality- the salad was terrible! The lettuce has been changed to the stuff that looks like a weed. The other two entrees were as expected from an Ihop. We won't be back because of the gluten options/or lack of.

Poor service & understaffed on 12/27/12. Waitress had Dirty blue apron , which was not appealing for our appetite nor was her charming personality ! No hostess to great people ( see in photo section )

Our waitress was nice.......! That's all the good stuff and only reason for the star. Last time we are giving this place another chance. Our strips of fat (supposedly bacon) were undercooked, replaced by greasy rubbery inedible strips. Our eggs were so undercooked they were like water, my sons bananas were brown. I am not the best cook but when my breakfast blows a restaurant's out the water, then that's pretty bad. Very disappointing, what happened, it used to be good. Also sad my favorite Nutella and banana crepes have been removed from the menu, bad decision but not the local branches fault I guess.

Not a bad experience. Went at 10pm. Waitress kaetlyn (sp?) was extremely pleasant and friendly. It's ihop, so there's no surprise to the food. Pancakes were fluffy and good. Four types of syrup on the table (no need to ask for yet another little thimble as some places give you). Eggs weren't overcooked, just right. Bacon crisp but not dry or old. I'd certainly go back again.
